Northfield Board of Assessors approves 18 motor vehicle excise abatements totaling $2,081.22 for the 2026 levy. The three-member board, chaired by Alice Lord, also approved all Chapter 61 agricultural land applications received to date and voted unanimously to conditionally extend a state tax form 2HF deadline for applicant P. Antognoni to April 1, 2026, contingent upon a written request filed by March 1.
Mayflower Valuation consultant Duane Adams reported that building permit inspections have begun for the town's ongoing property revaluation.
