Board nominates Dan Gray as Animal Inspector

NORTHFIELD — The Northfield Board of Health unanimously nominates Dan Gray as town Animal Inspector. The Board also approved a tobacco-sales memorandum of understanding. Health coordinator Lisa White of the Franklin Regional Council of Governments briefed the Board on two measles cases in the state and suggested the Board budget for tick-testing assistance ($60 per test).
White noted declining flu and COVID cases but rising tick-borne illnesses. The FRCOG has received a grant to supplement opioid settlement funds for Northfield and surrounding towns. The Board approved permit applications for two perc tests and three routine permits including Food and Campground permits for Northfield Bible Conference. ===END BRIEF===
