Northfield Board of Assessors approved motor vehicle excise abatements totaling $1,054.60 and advanced revaluation preparations. Chair Alice Lord and members Robert MacEwen and Bethany Walker voted unanimously to approve prior meeting minutes and processed 10 abatements from the 2026 levy. The board reviewed active real estate sales, received additional Forms of List from second homeowners as required during the state revaluation year, and scheduled May inspections of selected personal property accounts.
The board approved bills of $5,954.34, including stipends, legal fees, and association membership dues, and entered executive session to discuss exemptions and abatements.
