NORTHFIELD — Board of Assessors establishes dual co-chair position shared by Robert MacEwen and Alice Lord. The board unanimously approved nine motor vehicle excise abatements totaling $589.36 from the 2026 levy and denied two others. Mayflower Valuations continues field inspections and revaluation work, with the required Second Home Study completed; personal property inspections are scheduled for May 16, and an invitation for bid for Firstlight Appraisal is due May 28.
The board approved bills totaling $3,467.44 and entered executive session to discuss Bluewave Solar litigation strategy and real estate and personal property exemptions and abatements.
