Board of Health approves campground septic system construction

NORTHFIELD — Board of Health approves campground septic system construction. The Board voted 2-1 to approve conditions for septic system installation at the Pierson Road campground project based on Department of Environmental Protection approval of the public water supply plan. Chair David Balk and member Kathryn Bridges voted in favor; member Dan Gray opposed.
The Board also unanimously approved 2026 food permits for Northfield Golf Course, Fils Market, and Centennial House, and approved January 28 minutes. Citizen concerns about the driveway's proximity to septic tanks were resolved after the Board displayed its approved septic design plan.
