Northfield Board sets October hearing for Strowbridge Road violations, approves health inspector. The Board of Health, chaired by David Balk, scheduled an October 14 hearing for a Strowbridge Road property owner after inspectors found violations requiring vacating non-living spaces and completing a Title V septic inspection within 30 days; the last inspection was in 2017. The Board unanimously authorized investigating a Caldwell Road property at the town administrator and counsel's request.

The Board approved Jason O'Brien as health inspector for food permits and housing and campground septic inspections. The Board voted 4-0-1 to approve passing Title V reports while directing follow-up on a failed and conditional report.
