Finance Committee approves website support transfer, reviews FY27 budgets

NORTHFIELD — Finance Committee approves $3,659 website support transfer while reviewing multiple FY27 budget proposals. The committee of six members unanimously approved the Reserve Fund transfer during a lengthy budget review session that included presentations from the Highway Department, Board of Health, Transfer Station, Sewer Commission, and Town Hall. Town Administrator Andrea Llamas noted that building inspection services will transition to the Franklin Regional Council of Government beginning June 1, and health insurance costs are projected to increase 16 to 20 percent.
The Sewer Commission separately voted unanimously to approve a FY27 budget of $668,454.
