Library trustees authorize $13,000 HVAC spending from state aid

Northfield Library Board unanimously approves officer slate and HVAC project authorization. The Board of Library Trustees re-elected Jon McGowan as Chair, Deb Potee as Vice-Chair, Alex Strysky as Treasurer, and Nolan Kitfield as Secretary. The board voted to authorize Library Director Misha Storm to spend up to $13,000 from state aid for heating, ventilation and air conditioning project contingencies, with work targeted for completion this summer.
Town Meeting approved the FY26 budget including a staff salary increase and small increases for building and utility costs. April circulation totaled 4,676 items across physical and digital collections.
