Northfield Board of Health elects Balk Chair, approves three permits. David Balk was elected Chair with Kathryn Bridges as Co-Chair in a unanimous May 13 vote. The Board unanimously approved three permits: a temporary food permit for OMG Coffee pending Health Agent determination and fee receipt, an emergency beaver permit for the Sewer Department, and a plastic septic tank installation at 77 Turnpike Road.
The Board received a completed SAPHRE 2.0 Performance Standards Survey and noted ongoing housing code enforcement actions at two properties.
