Northfield's Select Board voted to choose HKT Architects Inc. for the emergency services building project. The selection followed interviews with three architectural firms. HKT Architects Inc. scored 244 points, compared to Caolo & Bieniek Associates at 210.5 and Kaestle Boos Associates at 179.
The vote passed with five in favor and one abstention from Emergency Services Building Committee Chair Floyd Dunnell III, who has previously worked with Caolo & Bieniek.
