Select Board accepts conservation restriction on Goodwin property

NORTHFIELD — Select Board approves conservation restriction for Goodwin property along Glen Road. The board voted to accept Franklin Land Trust oversight of the conservation restriction, preserving the agricultural property from future development while keeping it privately owned. Daniel and Tim Goodwin sought the restriction to maintain the land's agricultural use.
In separate actions, the board appointed Brandon Garvey as a part-time police officer and accepted Dan Campbell's resignation as Assistant Town Clerk, effective June 5.
