Select Board · Meeting of February 17, 2026
Northfield Select Board accepts senior center director's resignation in 3-1 vote. Vice Chair Bernard Boudreau initially objected to Colleen Letourneau's departure, telling her he would not accept her resignation, but conceded when she indicated the decision was final and agreed to train her replacement. The board hired Mitchell Waldron as full-time police officer at $33.60 per hour at grade 9 step 5 with a six-month probationary period.
The board also classified a new Town Administrative Assistant position at grade 8 with hiring planned for May, approved a low-income Community Shared Solar Program MOU, and appointed Dennis McCarthy as Grandin Water District Commissioner.
