Northfield Select Board approves wage increases for highway workers. Vice Chair Bernard Boudreau recommended the step increases after reviewing area wage data, raising employee compensation to the middle of regional pay scales, retroactive to January 18, 2026. The board also reclassified a library assistant director position from $24.03 per hour to $25.62 per hour, effective the same date.
