NORTHFIELD — Sewer board hears Rural Development grant briefing for electrical project. The Board of Sewer Commissioners received an update on a municipal consortium electrical project funded by a Rural Development grant with no required local match. Chair Karen Boudreau committed to weekly oversight of the electrical project and a separate Water Line Railroad crossing initiative.
Chief Operator Isaac Golding reported that the treatment plant operates under a state Consent order.
