Chair Barbara Jacque presided as the board also approved a $936,285.32 vendor warrant and a $129,195.22 payroll warrant for October 14. Sewer Commissioner Karen told the board the department has secured $767,405 in grants since 2022, calling the just-finished $167,400 electrical panel replacement "open heart surgery on the plant." The board also voted unanimously to direct Town Administrator Andrea Llamas to arrange for the Boy Scouts to clear out the historic Old Fire Station so it can be structurally evaluated, and extended the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association's cross-country permit to a three-year renewal cycle.
